LOL. I'm not there, I'm not there. With my little pick and shovel I'm not there. No Medel today, not even on the bench. We need 4 points from the next 2 games at home. 3 today would be a nice start.
Managed to stream some of the 2nd half and wish I hadn't bothered. Too many poor balls and gave possession away all too easily. The intent may have been there but the execution wasn't.
Fair play what an amazing match day thread... Thought id make it 8 comments for you and give the thread a bump
Think your Malky [who I like] got it very wrong today? When teams press Saints hard we have struggled a bit of late, but to sit back and invite pressure as you did particularly in the 1st half was crazy as out midfield is good enough to hurt most teams. Think you guys will be ok this season, but I think the unrest from above is starting to affect the players? Keep the faith.
this has been our tactic all season unfortunately and although it has worked against teams who like to full on attack (ie man city and utd) it has really cost us vs teams we should be contesting ie Southampton crystal palace etc etc. I expect the same when we go to Sunderland and they will grow in confidence because of it.

Really missed Medel today. No organisation I front of back. Gunnar totally lost and Whitts' head elsewhere. Well done to Campbell who didn't stop running the whole game.
Unlucky lads, I'm sure MM will start to be more adventurous from January onwards, we got lucky again today, should have conceded a shedful!......................
...........Frustrating aye, but remember you played a very good side, the Saints have a cracking side this season!...............
Not frustrated Phil, I was hoping we could grind out a result but we tried to defend again and got caught out by a decent side. Frustrated at Villa, Stoke, Palace, Norwich, were we sat back and didnt even try to win the game
