Match Superstitions

What superstitions do you have on a match day?

I've tried all sorts from not following the match until it's over to the socks I wear.

Conclusion - none of it works consistently - but I'll still be wearing the black socks with red on for Sunday's final.

 

I normally try and have about 6 Heineken.

Not sure if it’s a superstition as such

 

I’m a big fan of Heinny mate since they dropped the pissy weak one and made it all export strength.

When I was a regular at Roker & The SOL, I never used to take the knot out me scarf, and the scarf itself was purchased in the early 70s. It was even washed with the knot in place!!

I still have it, but the knot has gone.
