First half was dire, worst I've ever seen us play. Second was much better, once cork and gaston are back we'll stay up. Worth remembering united lost 3-2 to spurs at home as well. Anyone know the whole Boruc vs Chapel thing? Other than the fact he's a shocking keeper and should be dropped...
Boruc was pissed and heard someone in the crowd had a bottle of blue nun , they would not give it to him and he went ballistic .
First half, we would have lost even in the championship. Second half we dominated a top 4 team. Losing to a team as good as spurs has done nothing to waive my conviction that we will stay up.
To provide a serious answer, following the 2nd Spurs goal - fans rose from their seats and hurled abuse at Boruc and the like. Boruc retaliated by turning round and kicking his bottle flying into the Chapel end. Someone was hit and a steward is said to have made a note of it.
Thats it sorry he booted a bottle into the crowd after finding out it was water and not vodka..........................
heard a lot of rucuss in the chapel after the 2nd as well rumbling when boruc touched the ball the next few times. end of the game the 10 outfield players stood in the centre circle clapping the fans, he was straight down the tunnel, no idea why he's in the team
I was sat in the Kingsland and the guy two seats up from me (next to my Dad) was shouting abuse like "go back to Poland" and sarcastically cheering really loud whenever he caught the ball. A guy turned around and goes "look mate, support your team" and that shut him up! Oh, and surely if you want him deported then you should say "go back to Italy" because he was at Fiorentina last season.
