    Possession:
Bristol 52% Hull City 48% - that makes sense and is a good reflection on the game
    Shots on target
Bristol 8 Hull City 5 - Basso made some great saves and the James equivalents were parried on the whole.
    Shots off target
Bristol 6 Hull City 7 - We didn't test James enough but I suppose for an away team the ratio is impressive. Take into account that we also made James make 5 saves and you can see why we could have won on the overall balance of play
    Corners
Bristol 5 Hull City 2 - We would only have wasted them anyway, however, I dont really remember Bristol troubling us direct from a corner
    Fouls
Bristol 9 Hull City 14 - This is the most damning statistic of the day for me. I reckon McGiven got away with at least 5 tackles from behind at least, some quite malicious as well. The lino and ref didnt seem interested in the constant battering he got. To say that we were a dirtier team as the stats might suggests is wrong and these figures support Mr pearson's after-match assertions. I reckon David Burns BA (Hons) wasnt watching the same game.
    Most Fouls
Bristol(Stead) 2 Hull City(McLean) 3 - The Bristol leading culprit should have read, McGiven and I d say the figure should have been at least 5.
    Yellow Cards
Bristol 0 Hull City 2 - What a set of thugs we appear to be!!! Hmmmm! Bear in mind also that one of those bookings was that dirty brute, McKenna (yeah right), who dared to question the ongoing decisions (and non-decisions) being made by the officials throughout. The ref was a definite homer.

Goals scored from corners this season: 0

This is a concern, wheras before we've always had a Delaney, Turner or Gerrard to knock in 4-5 a season from defence, as good as Hobbs & Chester are at the back, they don't have the same presence or skill in the opposition box.

Overall can't argue with a point, we didn't dominate as we did vs Pompey.

I think we should worry more about actually getting our corners into the box, before we worry about who should be banging them in, there's been some shocking deliveries this season.

Namely Cairney, which is surprising because he takes a mean free kick

I think we need to look at our strikers scoring goals first before worrying about defenders not getting goals i mean come on not 1 game this season have we scored more than 1 goal, thats not good

Didn't McLean's vs Posh come from a corner?

It was scored from a corner, though not directly from the ball in, there was a bit of ping pong first.
