I was hoping to see a slight improvement under Fletcher but Sats performance was awful. Im not criticising Fletcher because its a horrible job to be in because were still in admin (goodness knows why), I guess i'm happy with a point but surely a side that was in the chmpionship for a good number of years should be more able to beat poor L2 sides at home anyway. The first half was adequate because we took a 2-0 lead and Walton stood out in a defensive protecting role. I thought club legend Larrieu should have started but Cole was good too, I thought after the break Accrington drastically improved which they had to do and overall a point was a fair result in the end. Rating Cole: 6 Berry: 4 King: 7 Williams 10 Nelsen 8 Daley 5 Walton 8 Hourinae 5 Atkinson 5 Soukouna 5 Le cointe 1
When you're 2-0 up at half time against 10 men you can be forgiven for thinking it's a case of 'how many will we win by?' This result must have felt like a victory to the Accrington players and fans. On the flipside, it must have made you in the green army pig sick. I hope you can turn things around sooner rather than later. For a proud city like [and the size of] Plymouth to have a non-league football team is almost unthinkable.
It might be just me and I will admit that I didn't have the greatest view from the Devonport end but I thought Cole could have done better on both their goals. I do wish he's catch and not punch all the time - sometimes he put us back under pressure when a catch would have allowed him to clear the lines.
From Lyndhurst it seemed the case that he was beaten to the ball both times. It was a shame cos he looked rock solid first half and pulled off a great double save in the second half. I will be actioning a report later today, I have just been low with headache and sore throat all day, so have not wanted to stay online too much
That's what living in a cardboard box does for you Hobo, as well as having Meths or White Spirit with your corn flakes
