Krul 7- couldnt do much about the goals.
Simpson 6- a few bad crosses and gave the ball away a few times
Wilo 4- bad header for there 1st, out muscled by Suarez for the pen, not marking Suarez for there 3rd.
Colo 7- steady as ever didnt do anything wrong
Enrique 6- tried to do too much kept loosing possession either by dribbling or doing rediculous passing
Barton 6- didnt do much, bad corners and bad free kicks, heart didnt seem to be there
Tiote 6- some good tackles ut not his usual self
Nolan 5- hardly did anything, some good passes but didnt do much (passenger)
Jonas 9- excellent caused different right backs in each half havolk and won loads of corners, dribbles past people with ease
    Ameobi 4- did nothing.
Lovenkrands 4- nothing apart from a 1 on 1 were he passed it to Reina.

Krul - 7 - Not at fault for any of the goals, otherwise not a lot was asked of him. Fumbled the ball once but got it back quickly enough. Was too keen to leave his box to shepherd balls out of play though.
Simpson - 5 - Was dominated by Johnson in the first half (Johnson switched flanks second half), final ball terrible
Williamson - 4 - Poor performance, made mistakes leading to all 3 goals
Coloccini - 7 - Not outstanding, not bad
Enrique - 6.5 - Some good attacking movement, generally solid in defence, but still disinterested and played another dangerous ball across our box
Barton - 6 - Delivery was off today, just pelted balls in and hoped
    Nolan - 6 - Largely anonymous
Tioté - 7 - Didn't dominate midfield (4-4-2 paired with Nolan vs 4-2-3-1 meant he had no chance), but offered an option to wingers and spread play well
Gutierrez - 9 - Worked his socks off, the only player who looked really up for it
Ameobi - 5 - Played too deep and ****ed up when he had to ball, won some useful headers though. Continued to insist on trying to shoot from range and not play in team mates.
Lovenkrands - 4.5 - Could barely tell he was even playing, wasted his one good chance when he got into the box from a lofted through ball and nodded the ball to Reina instead of controlling it

Subs didn't get enough time to make a difference, and Pardew stuck to the same system which wasn't making chances, minimising their chance of doing anything worthwhile.

Krul - 6 Not much to do
    Simpson - 5
Coloccini - 6 I'd be gutted if I was him playing alongside....
    Williamson - 3 Genuinely that **** today.
    Jose - 4 Heart isn't in it
    Barton - 5
    Nolan - 5
    Tiote - 5
Gutierrez - 9 Had the beating of both fullbacks and put some decent balls in - if we had more than one man in the box someone might have got on the end of one
    Shola - 4
Lovenkrands - 5 Effort was there, touch let him down as usual, however
    Ranger - 4.5
    Kuqi - NA
    Ferguson - NA

Krul - 7 - Did alright. Could have done a little better. Would have saved that first shot if it wasn't deflected
Simpson - 5 - Deflected the goal in and generally wasn't grand.
Willo - 3 - Woeful. Caused a penalty and was at fault for most, if not all, of the goals. Our defence would be SO much better if we had a far superior CB to partner Colo.
    Colo - 6 - Did alright.
Enrique - 5 - Did most of his duties but he still didn't put much effort in.
Barton - 5 - Few of his crosses were dire. Overall play was ok at best.
Tiote - 6 - Played better than he could have. Isn't saying much though. Got yet another yellow.
Nolan - 4 - Poor. Our team would improve get again a significant amount if we got a top class CM to do CM duties. Scoring lots of goals isn't good enough.
Jonas - 8 - Ran around like hell, got us some great set pieces and skinned that side of the pitch numerous times. He's a great player on his day. MOM
Ameobi - 2 - ****ing dire. ****e, lazy and gives us absolutely NO goal threat whatsoever.
Lovenkrands - 2.5 - ****ing dire. Basically the same as Ameobi except slightly, slightly better.

“If we had scored that would Liverpool have been able to break out of the slumber we have got them in?”"I thought the second goal was crucial in the game.”

“We took the game to them after the first goal but couldn’t quite find a moment in the box before half-time.”

“We had a good chance with Joey just after half-time and I would expect him to score that.”* “If we had scored that would Liverpool have been able to break out of the slumber we had got them in?”

“Unfortunately for us Mike Williamson made a mistake which cost us the second goal, albeit outside the box by the looks of it.”

Also, I heard that Perch was meant to be playing but he got injured in the warm up but had to be replaced, surely this is not true?!...

Playing for who? At RB? I think you mean he got replaced by Tarvernier because he was on the bench at the start.

Perch was named on the bench but got injured. Tavernier, as Rambo said, replaced him.

Good it be another case of Jonas stepping up as Ben Arfa comes closer to fitness

I've noticed that connection again, but surely Jonas would know that Pards wants Arfa behind a striker, so his position isn't (that) under threat.

Just before the Wolves game, Messi said he thought Jonas would show he's one of the best in the EPL from now on. Since then he's scored against Wolves, had a stormer against Man U and had another today. I'm beginning to get very worried about this Messi lad. I think he may be God.

It's a façade. Shola is god (with Tioté as some kind of supergod), but he doesn't want people to know so he uses a short, scrawny, graceful white guy, his antithesis, to carry out his actions.
