I see that Sheffield United are preparing well for their visit to Deepdale this coming Saturday.

Away League Cup tie at West Ham with extra time and penalties thrown in for good measure.
While I was very annoyed at our exit to an Oxford side that lies proudly at the bottom of League Two, maybe it was better for us not to be involved this week like the Blades were.

However the win will give them some momentum going into the game - but I do take your point, and am also glad we got a bye in the JPT first round

Agree with smhbcfc, I think both Sheff Utd and MK Dons will have momentum.

Knocking out a Premiership club, even in a competition that lacks the prestige of the FA Cup will have been a massive confidence boost to MK Dons and Sheff Utd.
