    Information on todays opponent's.

Today sees the first meeting between City and Tamworth when the Robins travel to the Lamb Ground in second round tie in the FA Cup with Budweiser.

Dale Belford’s side currently sit 20th in the Skrill Premier but last weekend progressed to the FA Trophy second round after a 2-0 victory over Macclesfield Town.

On-loan Plymouth Argyle striker Nick Chadwick scored the only goal of the game as the non-league outfit overcame Cheltenham Town in Staffordshire.

With Steve Cotterill taking charge of his first City game and the ITV cameras present, the Lambs will see this as a perfect opportunity to cause an upset.

    Manager – Dale Belford

After having three previous spells in caretaker charge of the Lambs, Belford took the reins permanently in May 2013 following the departure of Marcus Law.

The former goalkeeper progressed through the Aston Villa Academy and made just one league appearance during the 1985/86 season before dropping out of the Football League.

After a brief spell with Notts County in 1987 in the fourth tier, Belford spent the rest of his playing career in non-league enjoying five separate spells at the Lambs and won the FA Vase in 1989.

    Key man – Nick Chadwick

The on-loan Plymouth Argyle striker has netted three times in six appearances since moving to Staffordshire in October.

The striker progressed through Everton’s Academy with the likes of Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert before making his Premier League debut against Sunderland in December 2001.

Chadwick struggled to establish himself in the first team at Goodison Park and was reduced making appearances in the cup. He scored in Everton’s 5-4 penalty shootout victory over City at Ashton Gate in the League Cup in September 2004.

The 31-year-old then dropped through the leagues in search of first team football and had spells with Plymouth and Hereford United before dropping out of the Football League with Chester City and Barrow.

Chadwick rejoined financially-stricken Plymouth on loan from Stockport County in 2011, before moving to Home Park on a permanent basis shortly after.

    Referee – Andy D’urso

Andy D’urso last took charge of a City fixture in December 2012 when Derby County secured a 2-0 victory over the Robins at Ashton Gate.

The Essex official has refereed 14 games so far this season giving out 45 yellow cards and four reds.

Yeah he is a right twat. Didn't he give a player 2 yellow cards and forgot to send him off? was some time ago in the prem I think. Not shy on giving the cards out by the look of his stats. 45 yellows in 14 games? quite a lot...
