I was in the land of nod after a little drinking sesh in town yesterday so missed it. Delighted when I saw the score this morning though.

 

Didn't see it. Jet lagged to **** this weekend. I generally hate football when we lose and ignore the highlights shows and papers in a massive huff

A highlights show that is easy to miss really.

Only ever watch it either late, or next day so the banal patter can be whizzed through.

All those bloody pointers, heavenly lights, trapezoid shades areas and dotted lines. Pathetic. They spend as much time having a turn getting off the latest cliche or buzzword as they do showing the football.

Agree....makes me cringe they identify three players, attach imaginary lines to them and then observe that they operate in moveable triangles as if it's some scientific tactic!

 

I'd sack all these pundits off straight away.
What was a simple highlights show has turned into a look at me circus.
They never truly criticise their ex footy mates and managers are given every excuse going to paste over their shortcomings.
Bruce is/was the most excused manager in MOTD history cos he at one time was one of the lads and a 'good' player etc etc.
