Now, I listened to a vast majority of the Norwich game on the radio. It sounded very much as if we had Wigan rattled for a lot of it (especially last 20mins of first half and first 10-15mins of the second half).... SO WHY THE F**K DIDNT THE BBC SEE FIT TO SHOW THOSE BITS ON MOTD?!!!! They basically made it look like it was all Wigan when I didnt think it was! Can anyone who was at the match enlighten me as to whether it realy was all Wigan Ah well, a good away point and football is back!!!!
i went and you are not wrong. match of the day obviously have problems with their eye sight if they thought that was a fair reflection of the match! fair enough, wigan came on strong final five minutes but other than that they only threatened on the break through moses. we were in control for long periods and the ball spent the majority of the 2nd half in the wigan half. however, what i found far more alarming was alan hansen's ludicrous view of the two 'penalties' which he claimed were both 'stone wallers', despite the first being five yards outside the box and 50/50 at worst and the second being a disgrace of a dive - contact made whilst he was falling - it wound me up good and proper at the time but i should know better... the bbc do not like norwich and never have given us any credit! they'd prefer it if we didn't exist at all.
Just watched the football first highlights of the game round my parents and it seemed a far more even game than on MotD. According to the BBC itself we ad 50% of the ball and only five shots less so I have no idea how they made it seem so uneven
Meh, let's stay under the radar boys. We work well like that. Keep up the good work BBC, as long as I don't have to listen to your drivelling pundits then I don't mind! For the record I think Football First is much better.
