I wonder how far the tentacles of this foul practice will spread.

I couldn't see any of our current guys involved - although Campbell should really have scored with those 2 headers v. Arsenal and Pularse. <whistle> Lol!!!

Certainly, no influence on bookings or sendings off - we just don't get enough of them. Sides regularly concede throw ins against us now after Gunnar's shoulder problem so tough to tell if any are due to side bets.

However, who from the past might have taken a little flutter on the side?

Dimi Dropalot, Stephen Byewater, J Lloyd Samuel (all self explanatory)?. Anthony Gerrard (dubious penalty miss?), Jay Bothroyd for a very inconvenient play off final injury?

    Any other candidates?

Could have been Darren Purse - some of those own goals were pretty spectacular.

I remember one against Leicester at Ninian about 5/6 years back. He scored the only goal of the game with a rasping 20 yard drive past Enkleman. I don't think Enkleman saw it let alone moved.

Having said that mind, I doubt he took a bribe that time - if he'd tried it he'd have missed.........<laugh>

How about Gabor Gyepes' rugby tackle on James Vaughn?

I think these current allegations are the tip of the iceberg.
