Just curious, if Stoke roll over tomorrow and it looks blatantly obvious they're not trying over the 90 mins (and proven through each players' stats), can we ask the FA to investigate for fixing or take legal action under the law of incompetence causing financial loss to others!?

Sorry it sounds rather absurd but i'm just not comfortable with this 'stoke will be on holidays' and 'pulis and coyle are best mates' scenario. Unlike most of you, I'm convinced we need stoke to give us a hand.

Hmmm!? I'm normally a glass half full kinda guy. However, Pulis' interview on Sky last night when he said things like "we will go out and try on Sunday" and "even if we lose on Sunday it will still be a successful season" makes me think about the dirty 'match fixing' thing.

    Cripes, I hope not! :emoticon-0106-cryin

Right, back to glass half full.......we're STAYING UP!!!!!

Even if all that happened, it'd be unlikely to change the outcome if we went down.

Here's my tuppence worth. If Pulis / Stoke were to roll over then the likelihood is that eventually, at some stage in the future, they might need a favour from QPR and / or Hughes (or someone else well disposed to QPR / Hughes) and would certainly not get it.

The only way to mitigate for that possibility is for every team to play top standard, professional football which they are paid to do.

We are feeling vulnerable and paranoid. Understandable. I expect a strong Stoke team to play at least to the standard where they will be immune from just such criticisms. If they do that, that should be enough for us.

Why would they match fix when it would cost them a couple of million?

What's another year in the premiership worth?
I dare say there'd be a bit of change after forking out a couple of million.
    Does it happen?
    Who knows.....

reason why we should be focussed on our game not theirs... if we go down then we had our chances .. if we get two sent off in the first ten minutes and two clear goals disallowed then i will jin ant terrorist organisation and take out those concerned ... I may even unleash Cerny onto them armed with a biscuit barrel ... Krackerwheat or traditional Carr's thins with a slice of Roquefort?

It would cost Stoke a couple of million in lost revenue, not cost Bolton.

Pulis has said that he rally wants to win and give the fans a good final game. He also said he wants to avenge the hammering given to them by Bolton earlier in the season. Doesn't sound to me as though Stoke won't be trying!!

Quite right we WON'T accept anything other than a commited approach to the game.. Pulis can be a bit of a CNUT during interviews and we're used to him.
He SHOULD not be saying publically " If we happen to lose" end of!

If I was Pulis I would just tell the team to.. " Go out and give it 100per cent and WIN that game because we are better than them" I would say that whoever we we're playing.. " we can do this" we will do this" Hence why I and many Stoke fans think he's negative and that costs us.

I have not seen the interview I'm not even bothered tbh. We turn up and try and win the game, it's only fair on the other clubs.
THAT, is what Pulis SHOULD have said.

As for Fixing a game.. not in a million years.
