Terrible first half. Stokes has been gash, summed up by completely missing the ball from a yard out in the last seconds. Ledley uncharacteristically sloppy. Lustig deeply unconvincing.

Aye, it was pretty dire right enough.

    Where's Sammy? Is he injured?

    Edit: Stokes off, Watt on.

    Tam,
Was just thinking that at half time. Stokes- am I right in thinking that he rarely performs on a Sunday? Not sure but I suspect I might be correct.

Izaguirre's crossing has been dire. Three times he was free to cross the ball in the space of 30 secs, three times he hit the first man.

Poor performance from start to finish. Massively dominated possession without ever looking dangerous. Very few real chances created. Crossing from wide areas uniformly awful, from both sides. Dundee Utd looked hungrier and defended well.

Today showed how much we lack a target man when Plan A isn't working. Crosses into the box were meat and drink to the farmers at the back for Utd. How are the likes of Hooper and Watt meant to out jump a 6' 3" CB?

Getting a decent CF is the top priority in the summer.

I'm not reading to much into today. Our finishing was poor but we dominated from start to finish in a meaningless game.

On the plus side Watt again looked good as did Lustig, his best game so far and Commons was good in the first half.

Negative side, Brines had another one of those games where he gave one bizarre decision after another. Easily the most clueless whistler in Scotland.

Not sure that our finishing was poor Dev, we didn't actually miss many chances, because we didn't create many. We got into wide areas time after time and, with the exception of Stokes' complete miss of the ball in the last second of the 1st half, created next to no real chances and very few attempts on goal from them.
