Hey Sports Fans! It’s The Official CanariesSoccer Match Center for the ballgame featuring: Canaries @ SuperHoopz

    Live from LoftHaus™.

It’s been a hectic week for Coach Lambert’s Canaries Franchise, lining up against HotSpurtz and Cottagers in the space of four days; in those matchups Canaries were defeated Two versus Nothing (versus HotSpurtz) and drew One versus One versus Cottagers. Canaries’ sole score-attempt during the holiday season has been S. Jackson, whose conversion versus Cottagers came well into OverTime, and earned Canaries a deserved ballgame-point.

Coach Lambert: “It was brilliant. I thought we were relentless in the second half, and we played well in bits in the first half, but we couldn’t get the breakthrough. We lost a poor goal though, which I thought was too easy”

Having experimented with a number of midfield-line-formations, Coach Lambert appeared to have settled for the 1-4 lineup, with B. Johnson playing in the pocket behind the main midfield-line; this tactic had the effect of limiting options whilst on the off-fense, but benefitted the usually-poor Canaries de-fense. The 1-2-1 midfield line, as was featured versus HotSpurtz, had the effect of providing little resistance to the offense-wide-receivers, giving the likes of G. Bale space and time to dictate the playbook.

SuperHoopz joined The EPL® this series with Canaries and Swans as an expansion-franchise, having finished in P1 of The NPC divisional standings. So far they have had mixed fortunes, and sit perilously close to the dreaded rejection zone. They have a wealth of experienced and talented players, and the recent mid-season-draft-pick of F. Macheda has served to provide further strength in Coach Warnock’s depth charts.

Coach Warnock: " .”(ed. The only quote I could find was with regards to RVP and it wasn’t really suitable, if anyone can find me a quote I will happily include it)

Last time these two Franchises met Canaries ran out as Two versus One winners, a scoreline Coach Warnock would undoubtedly be happy to reverse. With both franchises desperately in need of ballgame-points, expect a fiery encounter with some tough tackling, both de-fenses will have to be on their guard, however CanariesSoccer predicts that this match will be won in the midfield-line!

This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola™ tankards, get your hot-dog's and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606!

We have to go for it so, as you say, it should be a cracker. We can't afford to be losing ground to the teams around us and Taarabt is long overdue a big performance, today would be ideal...

As you rightly say, this is going to be a cracker! I can only hope that, come the final whistle, Colin will be whingeing about "that cheat, Grant Holt!"

Maybe Warnock needs to get his statements correct and understand what the funk he is saying before spouting his absolute guff, as quoted below from last season where he said Holt cheated to get a player sent off before agreeing it WAS a red card!! what a fool...

"Today he’s got one of my lads sent off which probably ended up winning them the game – so you’ve probably got to say ‘Well done!’ to him if that’s what you expect. I think referees should be looking at people like Grant Holt a little bit more than Taarabt. Taarabt does a thing so obvious but it’s the little sneaky ones that I think the referees should be educated in. It’s not the laws of the game – it’s watching a little pull here or a little dive there. Or going down when you’re blown on. It’s little things like that – from the English players as well as the continentals.”

Warnock was the first to admit that one manager’s frustration is another manager’s gain.

“They’re probably quite pleased with it in their dressing room,” said the Rs chief. "But no, I have no complaints with the red card. However, he should have been pulled because he’s handballed it. He’s took the kitchen sink with it – he’s actually gone with his right hand and deliberately done it.”

Video evidence showed that there was no handball.

    -----

what an absolute knobhead. any old excuse to explain away what was, on that occasion, a big defeat in all but scoreline. paddy kenny produced save after save and the score could have been 4 or 5 nil.
