Hey Sports Fans! It’s The CanariesSoccer Match Center for the ballgame featuring: Toffees @ Canaries

Live from The DeliaDome™.

Canaries were last in action during a Two versus One defeat @ Cottagers. In that matchup a poor performance during the first two quarters cost Canaries any chance of a victory, despite a 77th minute A. Wilbraham conversion and a late fightback.

Coach Lambert: “We should have got something from the game. We were relentless in the second half. But you can't give teams two goals at the start. It's a mountain to climb from there. But the response was absolutely terrific. We went about it and tried to retrieve the game. In the second half I thought the lads were excellent"

The matchup @ Cottagers saw the introduction of mid-season-draftee-defensive-linebacker R. Bennett, who made an instant impact and impressed franchise fans. This could be an important draft-pick from Coach Lambert, with M. Tierney and D. Ayala both being recalled by the med-team with injuries.

Toffees have had a relatively uneventful series so far, and currently sit in an impressive P7 of the divisional standings. Consistency has been the name of the ballgame for Toffees, having picked up matchup-points in order to build a late push for entry to the European-Soccer-League.

Coach Moyes: It has been a little bit of a surprise how well they have done but Paul has done a brilliant job in bringing them up and they have taken some big scalps. Some younger coaches come in with some different styles and are brave with what they do and that is great credit to them.”

With the series-end approaching, this could well be an opportunity for Coach Lambert to experiment with alternative lineups in his preparations for next series. Regardless of the starting XI, expect another all-out effort to pick up points and guarantee extra dollars for Canaries!

This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola™ tankards, get your hot-dog's and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606!

I really fancy us to get three points tomorrow.<ok>

Arguably Everton's most important game for years happens next Saturday, and it just so happens to be against their closest rivals who beat them 3-0 a few weeks back.

After all that, put your life savings on a 4-0 away win.<laugh>

This will be a tough game. Everton tore us apart at times at Goodison, and are on good form now. Also, don't they have a league game on Monday, so I don't see why they would be resting players tomorrow. Doesn't mean they won't have one eye on it though. I think 1-1.

I'm hoping they think tomorrow's game will be easier than their game against Sunderland, so they will play the weakened(ish) team tomorrow. Although, I do think because their minds might be elsewhere, this will be more of a telling factor than team selection.

I think PL will have the boys in the right frame of mind for this. I just hope he picks the right team. I am hoping for:
Ruddy
Martin Bennet Whitbread Naughton
Bennet Fox Howson Pilkington
Hoolahan Holt
I disagree with Cheshire about Evertons dominance in the first game. I thought they struggled against us for long periods.I would like us to pick up a tempo and sustain it. I don't think they like a high termpo game.

Fair enough, that's just how I remember it, but it was 4 months ago, so I'm probably thinking of a completely different game! <laugh>

I also agree about the tempo. <ok>

HAHA genuinely made me laugh out loud.

I still maintain there should be a "sticky" thread purely for jokes about Dave and his Whisky drinking.
