Utterly pointless on its own. A (deluded ******ed) scouser who talks sense for once... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Man-Uniteds-ills-Glazers-splashing-cash.html
Man City are interested in him to. Southampton must be loving the prospect of a 3 way bidding war, from England's 3 wealthiest clubs
You are at an advantage in that respect, plus Southampton isn't to far from Chelsea. Atleast though our interest might force you to pay a fair bit more than you were hoping to
Mata is a huge signing. Not just on its own but for the signal it sends to other players: "United is re-building a great team. Come and join us..." From what I have seen of Shaw he is very talented. Kroos I do not know but I'll look out for him. We need two or three big names to keep the momentum going.
Every man and his dog is saying mata wont be the only signing. Hope its a midfielder ahead of shaw at the prices being chucked about.
Kroos is a midfielder isnt he? Can play a more attacking role but can also play central mid if needed.
We definitely need a defensive CM, a top striker and a LB. We should have at least 2 quality players for each position, which we are very very far from at the moment.
The days when you could just stroll in and buy our best players are gone, i'm afraid. Now, i'm not naive enough to think Shaw will be here forever, but it's far more likely he'll stay until the summer, at least.
True. But would you be able to refuse or more to the point would it be sensible for the saints to refuse a massive offer for one of your players ? £35million could do it IF Moyes thinks he could improve the team. ,
