Just been watching the London Masters Football. All the big London clubs were there inc wet sham, and Watford. For some reason you and Orient didn't get an invite.Whys that then ?. 1-Postman lost you're invite. 2-No one likes you, never get birthday invites etc. 3-Too small a club, easy to forget. 4-Didn't have any good ex players to make a team up.
OLD and ex Players. Does that mean your first squad, AKA Last of the Summer Wine, are in the Yorkshire event?
Good to see you taking an Interest in London football Chesh, Must be a welcomed change to the rubbish Yorkshire has to offer,
I have wondered why we don't actually enter a Masters team in the London Masters? who could play, Teddy, Cascarino, Warner, Dyche, Lawrence, Wise, Harris
Leeds won the Yorkshire Masters? Grayson put out their first team Paynter got the winner, ok i lied about the Paynter bit that was a bit far fetched,
Mighty when you said Paynter got the winner. I thought that is was in the Yorkshire Pie Eating Masters!
I thought that was in the Yorkshire Pie Eating Masters! that was last week Lion. apparently he set a new world record and they will announce what the record is as soon as he stops,
Mighty you mean hes still eating! Don`t care what you say about Billy Bunter Paynter, But he sure has stamina.
that was last week Lion. apparently he set a new world record and they will announce what the record is as soon as he stops. Ken Bates is fuming - he's just got a bill for £200,000 from pukka pies !!
Maybe they could have a mini masters for them too small to play with the big teams. Millwall,Orient,Wimbledon,Palace,Charlton,Brentford,Barnet & Stevenage. Recon with luck you could make the semi's
2 **** ups in this poor post cheese, Watford aren't a London club & Wimbledon don't exist. Please try harder next time
I wondered why we aint invited to play in the London Masters? we are one of the oldest London teams around, the most central London team too. But Fulham did'nt get an invite either and they are pretty much a consistent premier league side. Plus watford is not London. Who remembers the old 'London 5s'? which is sort of the same event, but had ALL of the london teams in it. It was proper 5 a side rules with proper 5 a side goals. I remember Millwall getting to the final one year.
The Evening Standard 5-a-sides. Also, we won it one year...check out the Millwall team.
That's the one showoff. I remember as a kid I used to always look forward to the London 5s. I will check that clip out when i get home, as at work I cant watch youtube...
Funny to watch that, Roger Wynter seemed very good and only 17 yet ended up involved in crime and wasted his talent while Sherringham was awful and went on to become a great footballer
