Ok City could have drawn their last 2 games but let's be honest here this team is in trouble and this time next week I think we will know exactly where we going. 2 massive games against two teams also struggling at the foot. City need to actually get going and get some points on the board and win at least one if not both of these games otherwise we are in for a very long winter.
I'm sorry but I can't quite follow Trollope's plans - that's if he's got any or is just making it up as he goes along. Probably one of the best proven target men in the Championship now up front and he benches one of the best delivery merchants in the same division who could pick him out. He not only does that, but also benches the one guy who has any real pace and could either provide for or feed off the new target man. Where is this club going?
Status Quo song - Down down deeper and down!!! In fairness, defensive lapses apart that was probably our best attacking effort for some time, more shots and even some on target. I think we can get a win at Preston - not a ground where we traditionally do well. Me? Positive? Must be the wine already consumed tonight.
I don't think how previous teams did at certain grounds should make any difference. I will be optimistic and predict an away win but with no real conviction. Has 0-0 written all over it or more likely a 1-0 last minute defeat with Doyle netting!
