Just seen the articles about chops and a possible move to Ipswich. Now I donât see this as a bad thing. So far looking at the positives we are getting lots of the massive earners off the wage bill. Moving on players that have had 2 glorious opportunities to get into the premiership and blew it and giving a new manager an almost complete fresh start which I bet most managers would love. Now for my only worry. As fans we all know what we have wanted over the last few years and in most peopleâs wish list is a LB CB and strong ball winning midfielder. Is the fact that all the recent and possible departures off our front line and wide players going to make the new manager lose focus. We still need to improve on a defence that over the last 2 years has more than played its part in the failed attempts to get into the premiership.
I'm sure you'll meet the challenge, though survival in the Championship has to be your priority this coming season, and the fans will have to be realistic, and more importantly supportive, because it is going to be a bumpy ride!........ please log in to view this image
good to see the jacks still completely and utterly obsessed with cardiff. if we do go up next season we should dedicate it to people like you, after all you seem to care more about us than we do, and thats some achievement. maybe you should find something more productive to do with your life than wumming here you sad downie.
I have faith that survival wont be a problem Phil. With a whole new set up the expectation levels wont be the same which hopefully results in a more relaxed atmosphere at CCS. Not that it was bad, far from it, just at times there was something missing and the tension was unbelievable imo. If we can be up there again towards the end of season then bring it on but if we're not, then after a first season with a new boss and basically a new squad, I for one wont be disappointed to go again the next year.
Definitely a season of consolidation is what we all have to be looking at realistically but I suppose that all depends on who we bring in manager and player wise! If we are up there again this year happy days if not I for one will not be disappointed and will understand it may take time. As for fighting off relegation I just can’t see it we are taking the time to make sure we appoint the right people and I am sure that the rebuilding of the playing squad will be treated with the same approach. Make sure we get the right player for the right price and wage.

Never did watch match of the day in all honesty. You see I am this thing called a Cardiff city fan and I tend to watch or comment on all things CARDIFF CITY!! Any how all the best from a Cardiff lad Cardiff Fan!! Not that I am being sarcastic in anyway you understand!!
So this is what we will be left with and I think that some may still need to be moved on TBH Gabor, Naylor, Taiwo All have proved they are not good enough. Put on top of that we have 5 youngsters or first year pro's in this 20. I make it that we need about 10 new players to get a decent squad of about 22 players with the youth to make it 27. Goalkeepers: 3 Tom Heaton, David Marshall, Jordan Santiago. Defenders: 9 Darcy Blake, Anthony Gerard, Gabor Gyepes, Mark Hudson, Dekel Keinan, Lee Naylor, Kevin McNaughton, Paul Quinn, Alex Evans (first year pro). Midfield: 6 Stephen McPhail, Peter Whittingham, Aaron Wildig, Solomon Taiwo, Jonathan Meades, Ibrahim Farah (first year pro). Forwards: 2 Nat Jarvis (first year pro), Jon Parkin.
These jacks amuse me, they have finished one place above us for the first time in years, and have yet to kick a ball in the premiership, and the pikeys suddenly think they are Barcelona I wonder how many of them will be so chopsy when at the end of next season the jax take Derby's record............still it's not all doom and gloom, they can use their parachute payments to pay the rent.
they may be above us at this moment of time, but they know that long term, they will always be in our shadow, hence they are trying to make the most of the one time in the past 20 years when they are above us in the tables. needless to say the balance will be restored soon, in the mean time we'll have to put up with loners like DragonPhilljack who simply have nothing better to do than WUM on here instead of actually enjoying their success like a true fan would.
I'm sure Proph's ear is nearer the ground than my deaf one but I'm hearing positive rumours about the clearance. Looks like once the wage bill is down and the new man is chosen there will be some fairly serious money to spend. I'm looking forward to the news and, apart from losing Burke, looking forward to a new and exciting episode. . .
You Bluetits don't half make me laugh! bit like your goofball................ please log in to view this image PS: I guess you'll have to settle for being the capital city while we at Swansea enjoy Premier club class!.............. please log in to view this image
now now you lower league-rs just because you are in melt down you dont have to be rude to us premiership chappies trying to give you some advice on how to do things the proper way. dragon is right the main priority is to try and stay in the championship this coming season as its going to be difficult for you with all your main stars going to pastures new. lets see if your element of plastic fans stick with you .....i doubt it
