Desperately hoping that Ukraine can do them a favour by beating the groups leader Montenegro. Me, well I hope we qualify, I hope we can finish top, but I can't quite bring myself to cheer on a team to beat Montenegro to help us get there, that's just frankly too low......even for this poor England side. Anyone else just not that inspired by the national team at the moment.
They don't inspire me, yet they still get my support. I dream of a change in the way we play football.
As long as we qualify, I don't care how we do it. Ideally Montenegro would qualify too. Though it would be ironic, if we don't qualify, that our two recent failures to qualify would have both been under English managers....
Ukraine are down to ten men - striker Zozulya is off. Probably bad news for us, but he'll miss the England game. It's 0-0. Boruc is playing for Poland who are drawing 1-1 with Moldova. Austria are beating Sweden which would be a big result in that group. And the Belgium dream team are winning against Serbia.
After a first 45 minutes on the pitch, with very little football played, the scores are 0-0. Can't see Ukraine getting much out of this bad tempered foul fest now they are down to ten men. Oh dear England, we might actually have to win a couple games to cement our place. Scary.
More goals in this, Monty are diving around trying to get every decision. Never going to end 1-0, mark my words.
Despite my almost complete lack of interest, same here. However, if getting a bad result means a huge shake around in the England set-up, which changes Hodgson's tired old England attitude of playing the old guard instead of his best/in form players, then lets have a bad result. However, if it doesn't happen, it's no big deal.
Croatia 0 - Scotland 1. Typical, beat the best team in the group, but the damage done against `lesser` teams.
