Massive congratulations to Wycome Wanderers - it's great to see you making it to the Championship, something I don't think I ever expected to see in my lifetime. Having kept close tabs on the Chair Boys since the introduction to the Football league I envisaged the club to be a yo-yo club (same as mine), only between the bottom two divisions. It's a real pity that no one could actually witness it inside the stadium to give that extra special feeling Maybe not as delighted as you guys but I am delighted to see this happening and I hope you can make at least a respectable fight of it next season All the best guys - except when you play Norwich City of course Ron, Rocky, Guy and the rest of you - I am looking forward to the matchday threads when we meet
Cheers thai ,shame your lot didn't stay up but the one good thing at least we meet again.loved the trip to Norwich last time round
In case you are not aware, there is a good Championship coverage YouTube channel to keep an eye on next season
Congratulations Wycombe. Looking forward to seeing the beast Akinfenwa back down here, loved his time with us. Good luck next term boyos
Speaking of Rocky, is he still around, use to enjoy the banter with him a while back, hope he’s well. Ps welcome to the Championship.
Whatever happened to old Mike? Well done chaps / chapesses, a cracking achievement. See you next season!
Listened to Pete Couhig on Wycombe Sound yesterday he is certainly under no illusion about next season, when he said some clubs in the Championship would have a budget 25x as big as ours
I listened to that and he certainly knows his business, I liked the fact he said that wycombe may not have the budget the big clubs have but are more financially stable than most in the division. The fact that loads of companies are vying for advertising at Adam's park on the new led displays being erected all around the stadium bodes well for the future
Guy Wanderer is worried that I might put him under the tarmac or Mrs Slasher will flog him some lucky heather
