Embed from Getty Images Luongo was brought to QPR from Swindon Town in the summer transfer window, but he had fallen out of favour over Hasselbaink’s initial time in charge. However, the Australia international has now played in QPR’s last two matches, and he says that he is enjoying his role. “I am very happy,” Luongo said. “The manager has asked for a different side of me to come out in games and I have worked to do that in training while I wasn’t getting in the team. A little bit of luck got me in the side, and I am really happy to be back in. Rangers[/a] beat Rotherham United 3-0 two Saturdays’ ago, and they followed that result up with a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. Luongo has now made 19 appearances for the R’s since signing up, but he is yet to open his goalscoring account.
