Sorry if you guys have already seen this, just a point of interest. The man who sent off Robin Van Persie against Barca and denied you a place in the quarters of the Champions League is now the top man in FIFA's refereeing regime. Just about sums the organisation up doesn't it?
That was one of the worst refereeing decisions I've ever seen. The fact that it was in such a high profile and important game made it even worse. The fact that Busacca has been made head of refs at FIFA just beggars belief.
Even worse were the three choke holds on Arsenal players that he completely ignored, despite them being right under his nose. That was 3 red cards before VP was even sent off. He was promoted for doing his job of making sure Barcelona got through.
What happened to the officials who wrongly disallowed Messi's goal in the first leg and denied Barcelona blatent penalties in both legs?
You mean the goal that actually was offside? And besides, there's a world of difference between a marginal offside call and allowing players to assault one another and then sending off a player for something absolutely ridiculous.
