Seems that we really have moved from being the ‘model club’ in every respect..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-46526716 Whatever the ‘rights and wrongs’, it doesn’t leave a good impression.,...
You have to ask why does it cost anything ? but on reflection I suppose someone's got to support Jerkins and the rest of the deadbeats
I paid for my son to be a mascot when we were league 1. We played Leyton Orient and it was a 0-0 bore draw. I never paid that sort of money, I think it was the best part of £150. But that did include a kit for him, three course meal for 4 and 4 tickets to the game, so then it was decent value.
To be honest this just shows how the game has deteriorated, disgrace if you ask me, says it all about the families that subscribe to this outrageous rip off, and sums up our boardroom................ Mods should merge this with 'Business is Business', just a thought........................
What YOU hope for? You have no emotional attachment to Swansea City FC. You are not a fan of Swansea City FC.
Disgraceful. Parents should refuse to pay this ridiculous amount of money. The prices will soon fall when there are no mascots
I thought Mascots were chosen through local schools and charities. I'm shocked they have to pay for the privilege, especially when its football clubs who should be privileged to have them.
In 2017-18 it was £450 + VAT now its £399 + VAT (weekend matches) or £349 + VAT (weekday matches) To be honest I'm not sure and if I've offended any Jenkins lovers with my perceived misinformation , who cares
Greed is rife especially in the prem and Champ and it will get worse and After decades of following the Swans i made a decision that i will stop giving money for anything to do with Football as today it is one big Rip off for Fans.....After 4 seasons i dont miss going to live matches and have saved a few thousands of pounds and still be up to date on match days......As far as mascots are concerned then more fool anyone who pay outrageous prices but £50 is a fair price for what you get and you feel you are not getting ripped off.......I still would not pay it to be honest as most clubs can afford to do it for free when you think what they are paying the players for that weeks work.......Fans are being taken for Mugs and it is about time they reduce attendance fees for all levels how you pay as more and more fans are doing what i do and follow the team on the Web.
