Humble pie for most of you on here. A few weeks/months ago people we calling for his head, To be sold blah blah blah. Not many backed him, I can only recall me and Redprintt who stayed by him. As It stands he's been our best player under SOD. So consistent at the moment and IMO has made himself not only the first on the team sheet but un-droppable. He puts his body on the line every game. Note how many times he takes a kick. Think every game he goes down injured, Just gets up and carries on. Great player, Was upsetting for me to read all the constant abuse he was getting on here. So glad hes back to his best and proving all the doubters wrong. Hope he gets a new contract what ever league we're in. A very loyal player and im over the moon he's fighting in our corner It's Marvs Pitch P.S I made a thread a few weeks ago about our captain next year....... It has to be current captain fantastic. A great leader NaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaaaaaaa MARVIN ELLIOTT, ELLIOTT, MARVIN ELLIOTT please log in to view this image You shall return to my sig marv.
Marvin is as good as he has ever been. SOD is the difference, the players believe in him. They respect him as a manager and person. We are so so lucky to have him,he could have told us to pee off after Our board decided on Del Maclueless. He obviously likes the club and wanted in when offered the job. Top manager would not want any other in the championship.
Heaton would be the first on my team sheet. He has surely been our most consistent player this season.
Marv is and always has been a great player for us. A key reason we made it to Wembley under GJ. Always gives 100% and never moans. Top player. Lost his way a bit under Delboy but to be fair they all did - especially Fonts (who seems to be recovering too since SOD has been here). I think Marv can do a job for us for a few more seasons.
and don't forget your first pic taken with Marv, you were so cute in those socks! please log in to view this image
I am delighted by the return of the king, all down to SoD who said in his interview that he has given Marv his head to play as he likes and it clearly shows on the pitch. (Note to self, need to dig out the shirt with "super Marv" on it again...)
