Did anyone see this programme on the BBC this week?

An absolute cracker. Based on the true life story of a young man with learning difficulties who was taken on by Lou Macari to be kit man at Stoke City.

Here's the iPlayer link for those who can get BBC. It really is worth watching.

Thanks for the recommendation, I've just watched it.....Very heartwarming and brilliantly acted, it has reaffirmed what I thought about Lou Macari and Tony Benn .

It was so brilliantly made - with the original characters commenting to their actor counterparts throughout the film.

The Uriah Rennie bit was particularly amusing - booking the goalie for dissent <laugh>

Yeah, that was good, but it was his relationship with his Mother that was the most moving part.
