Hmm, where is this lad? Why is Obertan coming on ahead of him? Shouldn't he be first/2nd sub after Hatem/Cissé? I checked physioroom, there's no word of him being injured. Anyone know?

On his way in January I think. If we can't fit Ben Arfa into the starting eleven, his understudy's got nee chance. Luuk De Jong might be on the way in January. We might also buy Gomis for less than £2m. Tom Ince to replace Jonas. Vermaelen on loan. Champions League place for the Toon. Meh, I'm bored.
We'll get at least one of De Jong or Gomis. Both are failing miserably and the latter's going for less than we paid for Remy's loan. Personally I'd ship Cisse and let Shola go and bring these two in. They may not be pulling up trees, but both have got to be better than the two we currently have. Would move heaven and earth to get Remy signed up. Can't forget that NUFC is a revolving door squad now as well, so if we want Ince we'd have to let someone go. Whether that's Jonas with a handshake, Marv with a thumbs up, or Obertan with a w@nker sign remains to be seen.
Think Shola and Jonas have just about come to the end of their playing days, Obertan might do well with a Championship club, let him go for a small fee with our blessing.
As per the topic, you can add Marv to that. With Benny warming the bench, and the versatility of Sissoko/Anita coupled with the strength in depth on the left, he's not gonna stay. Four out. What about Cisse, will he stay? Four or five out, how many in? At least one striker, but then what? Ever-thinner squad?
Far too injury prone and not good enough to be first choice. Started something like 13 league games and this is third season. Just a back up player for me, sub at best depending on other players available. As an attacking midfield his goal record is crap.
Cisse doesn't seem too happy at the moment, maybe we should let him go and try and get Remy tied down.
In our first home games this season he looked genuine class could take players and find a pass without doing the stupid things benni does. His injuires always seem to disrupt his career but i'd say he's our best corner taker (can't be much worse then cabs at times) and a useful player who i assume must be poor in training as he seems to get shut out more than most when he is a better player. Then again may just be injuries....
This 100%. I'd put Remy on par with our top earner (Colo at £80k?) and top him up with a decent £ per goal bonus too. Wave Cisse off.... then go and get De Jong.
I thought Marveaux was injured again? I know he was supposedly indicating he'd like to move back to France in order to play more games. Maybe a quick note to himself though, if you want to play more games, you have to be actually available with some consistency and perform with some consistency
Physio room says the same but I am sure I read a one liner in the journal or chronny where it said he was injured. Could be wrong.
