The McLaren influence? Does anyone know if, like McLaren, Virgin designed low-bulkhead cars in the past?
Can't remember if they had a low chassis last season but Scarbs downplays any Mclaren influence. EDIT: Last seasons car. Bulkhead is raised. please log in to view this image
Front looks good, but not sure how much of a step they have made with the design of the rest of the car. Back still looks a bit dated and not very narrow at the gearbox so possibly already at a disadvantage on aero. Certainly a better look than last years car which looked slow and was slow.
The front still maintains the sharp angles from last year. Not a huge fan, though at least there's no step!
Its one of those cars that looks slow. Looks to basic almost, but if its consistent and near enough there it could be a step forward. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
aparently the marrusia has been run on a 'filming day' but it still hasnt completed the crash test yet.. Is this legal or is that rule only for FIA test days?
Marussia has finally passed the FIA crash tests. http://twitter.com/#!/Marussia_F1Team/status/177057291131031553
If I were driving a car which was destined to trawl through other people's accidents at the start, and have blue flags waved at it lap after lap, that's exactly what I'd want.
