    Ancelotti - Wanted a break
    Jol - Preferred Fulham
    McClaren - Got cold feet after fan reaction
    Martinez - Preferred to stay at Wigan

    The stage is set for Mark Hughes to emerge and step on Villa as the latest stone in his quest for the top four. How would fans react to the Hughes appointment?
