Lot of ifs and buts in the scenario but if Martinez goes to the Villa i can see him looking to take Nzogbia with him as replacement for Ashley Young who seems certain to be on his way. Would anyone be bothered if we missed out on yet another target?

This I can actually see happening.

Won't be too disappointed as my priorities are upfront.

Also, didn't we seem keen on Menez of Roma as another option to N'Zo?

I would be disappointed but not distraught.

Still the most important thing is we bring in a proven goal scorer.

Menez is probably a bit out of our league, especially with AC interested

I would rather take Boudebouz. A player with outstanding potential. Where as Menez seems to have lost a way a little bit since his Monaco days.

I really can't see Martinez leaving Wigan to be honest. After seeing his celebrations on the final day, i can see him signing a new contract there or something.

    Not to worry

    We'll get Gervinho instead.

Martinez would be crazy to stay at Wigan. The Villa job is a pretty big one and he should take it. I wouldn't want Charles N'Zogbia back here - he's a total muppet and would cause nothing but bother. He's the main man at Wigan but would have to warm the bench sometimes here and he would never be happy with that.

I think the OP was right, Martinez to Villa, Young to ManUre and Zog to Villa.
