last night martin tyler was commentating with david pleat , dont know who for as i was streaming the game. anyhow mr. tyler proceed to say this ' i have it on good authority that liverpools owners are giving kenny 100million for a summer spending spree'

my thoughts are this. martin is one of ,if not the best commentator out there so is this 100m true?

i think so because (a) why would martin say he has it on good authority to millions of people if he didnt and (b) martin isn't your usual rumour monger

That's almost too much! Who would we buy? I say we only need 4 players 25 mill each then.

I'm more excited with this part of the quote "...that liverpools owners are giving kenny..."

Whatever transfer kitty we have will have to be in line with the FFP rules so if it's £100m + whatever we sell then I expect us to have a very very busy summer

    Don't laugh.
Kenny will have a lot more to spend than the £2.50 Baconface has to spend this summer.Your fans are dreaming about De Rossi and Snjeider.Unless you sell Fat Wayne,You'll be signing Barry Ferguson and Salif Diao and Lee Bowyer,Davie Weir may be also be available. He's 42,but then again Blundesar is 40.He can also find a few portugese winos. You would want to pray that he doesn't pay £8 million for another one.

    I don't know what's more ridiculous.

    You believing Martin Tyler

    Or

Believing Liverpool actually have that kind of money for players.

    Or

That Dalglish isn't going to be just another failed attempt at derailing Ferguson.

And we'd still probably be above you lot in the league.

Face it, even in your fantasy world, Liverpool are gonna win ****-all!

It won't be a failed attempt.
Kenny is after Fergusons throat and he intends on slitting it.
Kenny will enjoy more than the rest of us in kicking Ferguson in the face when he's down.Mark my words,Kenny doesn't make idle threats,He makes promises.Ferguson is top of his list on opponents that he wants to destroy. And he won't think twice about doing it.He'll beat him and beat him good looking.

Here the fountain of all knowledge goes again, obviously he knows more than us how much our owners have.

Would anybody like to tell him about the shares owned by Carlos Slim & Family?

A very similar fountain of knowledge seems to believe United are potless and they won't be able to qualify for the champions league because of it. I suggest you look a little closer to home before mocking my statements. With love xx

He intends on doing it. But he won't... the fact that many have tried and failed (lots of them managers of your lot) seems to have evaded your miniscule attention span, eh?

Well congratulations on all your "success"

It takes a lot more than "batting an eyelid" to come on here to wum and then go back to the instant chat to boast about it.....

Didn't Kenny make Ferguson look like an imbecile in 1988.Wasn't there a 9 point difference? Then again nobody was going to stop Liverpool being crowned champions considering they went 29 games unbeaten from the start of the season.
Then there was 1995,Ferguson even had the brass balls to ask Roy Evans for a favour,Liverpool did what was necessary, but for themselves not for Ferguson, that was the year Andy Cole had the championship at his feet.....until he fell over them.

Closer to home? I don't recall ever saying United were potless and unable to qualify for the Champions league <laugh>. I suggest you get your facts straight before attempting to mock my mocking of your statements.

1988... Yes, 23 years ago. <laugh> You really are clutching at straws.
