Martin O'Neil steered Sunderland to a hard earned victory over Man C. Won won it in injury time.

Passion goes a long way. I can't stand impassionate managers (eg Alan Smith, John Gregory) or ****ers (eg the aforesaid and you know who).

Sunderland fans seem over the moon and lots of comments about MON but I had to laugh at this post

Every time MOM joins a new club and makes headlines for turning around fortunes etc, I always feel really lucky that he managed us. We were, pretty much, a steady non league outfit, no more no less until MOM came along. The rest, as they say, is history. Watch Sunderland get in the top 10 in the PL next season following a summer of cheap/free signings. The man is a genius.
