We can all have an opinion but I prefer to wait and see how things evolve. Nobody can predict what the squad will look like in August either in the PL or Championship but i'm pretty sure that the manager will be the same.
If we do go up then there is no reason why we can't compete with the likes of Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth financially and hopefully on the pitch too. If we are in the Championship then the bulk of the squad will be more familiar with the style of play from the start than this season but obviously there will be more pressure to compete with the top 2 next time.

I suppose Martin's future could yet be decided by whether the previous Brighton rumours come to fruition, now that De Zerbi is leaving.

No way they go for him.

Yeah the only way it could happen is if he gets us promoted and I can’t recall any manager leaving a team after promotion. It is actually a smart career move to do so, Kompanys stock would’ve been incredibly high last season after Burnley’s season, not so much now. McKenna I think will go a similar route

It’s also incredibly unlikely they go for him even if he takes us up, and no chance if he doesn’t as he would’ve failed in the eyes of everyone outside of Saints (and a fair few Saints as well)

They’ll go for the child that left Mainz, or someone from the Ecuadorean third division who ends up being the reincarnation of Pep.

Actually, I would bet they’ll go for Knutsen.

I think they are on the slide now, much like we did. The next appointment will be like a Pellegrino

Martin In, Is and has always been my stance. You don't build a successful team on the first sign of adversity. On the whole he has done a magnificent job.

Poch nearly got sacked at Tottenham at the start. He could still get sacked by Chelsea, but he’s turning it round there (under duress). You’re right, you have to allow a team to grow, and he’s taken us from a dreadful situation to something at least resembling coherence and enjoyment.

This is a really good way of articulating what I said, Both are very similar in developing the team.

Just my opinion, but we will get trounced with Plan A. I just hope we win on Sunday and the rest will be what it will be.

Sorry the way we are playing at the moment will not keep us safe in the premier.our defence and mid field will not be experienced enough by a long way in my opinion.Plus by all accounts we are going to lose a lot of the better players we do have. Martin will be ok for championship maybe, but nowhere near premier level.

My opinion too, would like to be proven wrong though

For me, the best scenario would be that we get promoted on Sunday and then we receive a decent compensation package from Brighton (he's currently 4th favourite according to SkyBet).

If we were to lose on Sunday, I would want Martin to stay (particularly for the continuity). Win or lose at Wembley, I won't see this season as a failure and therefore no reason to punish Martin by sacking him.

But if we win on Sunday, I just don't see it working out in the PL.
