he was on from 3pm till 5pm...i thought 4pm. sorry lads didn't hear alot of it myself due to be somewhere else, but what i did catch...which is of importance is that 3 premiership clubs are in talks with gillingham fc regards paulo gazzaniga ...that coming from martin allen himself ! and he also said on the matter, that if jack butland of birmingham fc is worth £7m when only having played for cheltenham fc...then gazza is worth just as much and will not go cheap ! transfers are being talked about this weekend and he has high hopes regards our youth set up and players coming through, plus darren hare and the rest of the staff will be staying with the club they came in for training this morning for training and had a game in groups. thats all i caught !

I would be gutted if we lost Gazza, we have not had a top keeper for a while so to lose him would be annoying, I doubt we would replace him properly aswell.

That is good would be nice to turn another rough diamond into a propper sparkler however I don't want to lose this one, it is good we are looking to places like Spain for players, would like a good left back or centre back or if Gazza does go which I think he will then another keeper. If he does go I just hope he don't go for a stupid amount under 500k that is just not worth it I know most of the deal is going to be about the add one but I would not let him go for anything under 600k and that is with great add ons.
from what allen said regards paulo gazzaniga(or gazzinga as he put it) yesterday and what the butland lad is worth by others. he stated if butland is worth that much...only having played for cheltenham...then he will do all possible to get the best deal for gazza ! we all know scally will let him go for what he wishes though !!! if he's not signing a new deal with us, then we need to makesure we get a decent basic figure £750,000-£800,000 plus add ons and a 15-20% sell on fee don't want to hear no chance having only played half a season for gills, because thats all butland has done...other than an England call up but no game time ! best someone gets intouch with argentina national team and gets him looked at before he leaves us
it would be such a shame if we sold Gazza, also with Mad Dog on board, I would have thought that Gazza would have fitted the mould...Tall, agile and absolutely crazy. I'll just tie my laces before I take this goal kick didn't he give McLeod a rough time as well? vaseline on the old gloves and laces tied togeather....your a one brb gazza looks like he could be off though...just hope we don't regreat what he leaves us for and we get the best deal possible or on our terms...even if it means us keeping him for another season as part of the deal ! we can't keep letting the premiership taking at will and us falling further behind regards what exceptable for the deep pocket clubs. scally's good at dragging things out for long periods to get the best deal...go to it scally
a mention must also go to ron hillyard the goalkeeper coach, who would of had alot to do with gazza feeling at home & translation , i guess ronny is not staying if allen is to bring a new keeper coach, possibly he wants to stay with ebbsfleet full time...who knows? top bloke ron whatever you do
I did wonder about Ron. My most loved Gillingham player ever and you will not often read or hear me saying stuff like that!
I have to say that listening to Martin Allen over the last few days, ok, he is mad, but I am warming to him very quickly and believe he really could be what this club needs.
