The Big Match was a Sunday afternoon tradition when I was growing up, it showed 3 games, the main one being from the London area and not always a 1st division game often showing 2nd and 3rd division games, then they'd show a game from the region's who had their own football programme..... Brian Moore was a brilliant old school commentator who simply described the game none of this modern day know it all stuff that commentators spout today....
