    Now that we have missed out on henry mkhtyrian, douggie costa and prob wiilian. Which marquee signing do u think we should get, please try to stay on topic. If you don't think we need one, please state why. Only genuine posts please.

    On a serious note, I don't think they specifically need to be a marquee signing, just someone that fits the criteria and is an improvement on what we already have.

    No one...reason- because I don't think we have a negotiating team good enough to secure one.
    Of all the big names we have been linked with the law of averages say we should have got one FFS.

    spurs have shown how its done. Pay the money, don't penny pinch and get it done QUICKLY.!

    Yes he bloody well is <grr> Keeping Suarez is a marquee signing in itself considering we were all resigned to losing him a month or two back.

    Myhkmuck: decided CL/BL runners up was a better deal

    Willian: we didn't match Spurs bid...apparently.

    Law of averages says we lost out on 1 from 1 of the "big" targets that can possibly maybe be attributed to our negotiating team....possibly.

    Now let's see if the lamela rumours are true.....

    Henry Ryan chose dortmond over us - who wouldn't right now?
    Costa - clause met, player wanted to stay - what can you do?
    Willian - no evidence we even put a bid in so if spurs want to pay out 30m what do we do about that? Offer more than 30 million quid for him? No one even mentioned his name a week ago and now he's the answer

    Just chill out - we will pick someone up, you must be able to see that we are only signing the right players for our club nowadays?
