MAROUANE CHAMAKH IN QPR MOVE 16th December 2012 By Carl Eldridge MISFIRING flop Marouane Chamakh could make a January move to QPR. Morocco hitman Chamakh, 28, is not wanted at The Emirates and boss Arsene Wenger is willing to offload him â or consider a loan move to get his £65,000-a-week wages off the payroll. Chamakh has not played a league game this season for Arsenal and could only make the bench in the Gunnersâ shock Capital One Cup defeat to Bradford last week. QPR boss Harry Redknapp knows he has to strengthen his squad if he is to steer the Loftus Road outfit clear of the Premier League drop zone. Former Gunners ace Ray Parlour insists Wenger must show Chamakh the door â and ship out Russian outcast Andrey Arshavin, too. He said: âWenger needs to get the dead wood out â the likes of Chamakh and Arshavin. âThey have so many players on about £70,000 a week. Wenger has to look at his players and really up the quality because he has lost some unbelievable players in the last few years.â
