I just looked at our goals from the first season in the Premier League and it has to be said that Marlon King is probably one of the best finishers I've seen at City. Would give the lad a second chance and have him up front with Harewood Could make a formidable partnership, even have him up front with Fryatt.

Would have to stop him from going night clubbing though!

it wasnt his finishing that impressed me, didnt he only score 5 with 2 penalties?...it was all his other work, hold up play, intelligence on the ball etc...
hed be a perfect partner for fryatt imo..
it all comes down to your moral compass, i disliked him as much as anybody at the time, with his antics ...but personally id be happy with harold shipman and rose west up top if they could provide 25 goals between them..

They've certainly got that killer instinct. In fact, with them up front we'd murder the opposition.

Id rather support the whiteshite than any team with that thug in it. I dont get why some people can just forgive ****e like that. Imagine if it was someone you know he's done that too.

We'd become a laughing stock with that cretin playing for us and rightly so.

Absolute top class player, probably the best technical striker we've had at City, will never forget the Toon goal, 2-1 win! UTT

i'd love to see Marlon back at the KC, forget what he's done off the field, he'd be absolutely quality with Matty up top! Can't see it happening though as he doesn't fit the mould as to what Pearson looks for! However, he could be the hold up man instead of any of the s***e we've been linked with.

I don't know if Messers Shipman & West would find 25 goals between them but they'd lend credence to the old taunt "you're going home in a f***ing ambulance"

He's a good player but no way would I want him back. We've got standards and he falls well short. There's no chance of us signing him anyway- I don't really see him as Pearson's type of player.

He's always going to divide opinion, not just with us, but with any team he plays for.

He's exactly the sort of player we need, but he's not a Pearson type signing, I don't think our Nigel likes players with baggage.

That depends on who he signs for, he's a free agent and QPR are supposedly interested.

Marlon King is the best striker City have had in 25 years in my opinion. We had Deano at the beginning and end of his career, however, he was at his best in between. King is like Windass at his very best. Given a chance we should sign him, he is without doubt premiership quality. King and Fryatt would bag 35-40 goals between them in the Championship.

Sexual assault and breaking a lasses nose who wasn't interested in him while he was out "celebrating" his wife's pregnancy is considered "antics"??

He's scum, and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football club. Ever.

I wouldn't say I couldn't care less what he does off the field because what he did was wrong, I admit that. However, I think if we had a Marlon King up top with Fryatt, we would definitely be challenging for playoffs, he is the kind of player we have been desperate for.
If he contributed 2 promotion I'm sure 90% of Tigers fans would forget that he has been in jail.

Great player, but a lousy human being and based on his most recent antics I wouldn't want him near the club at all

By that reasoning then you wouldnt want Ferdinand, Giggs, Rooney or Cantona in his prime.

I'm with others on this. He's a scumbag and I never want to see him near the club again, no matter how good he is. If only all football managers took the same view it would be great to see the scrote bastard jobless and hopefully penniless. One of the very few players around that I actually hope gets a career ending injury.

My point exactly, however I dont think NP has the man management skills (or respect from players) of Fergie
