Fowler was released from Perth Glory and is now at Muang Thong United. I'm surprised he's carried on playing to be honest, I'd of thought his appetite for the game would have gone after playing for 2 years in the less than impressive A-League. Punditry would surely appeal more; but as you've stated, money has to be a major factor
Fowler's gone to Thailand now. Shenzhen Pheonix are a decent team, but they got relegated last season, they play in a 33,000 seater stadium and he can live in Hong Kong and commute, he'll also be very well paid.

football is massive in thailand with most schools being sponsored by top teams. just in one small area i was in there were bayen,arsenal and l,pool schools. i dont know what the deal is but i know they get there kits for free.
Isnt Fowler is one of the richest footballers around after investing most of his money when others were just wasting theirs
