Alright lads I'm a Kopite and I'm wondering how our feller has settled in and performed since he arrived on loan. What do you all make of him? Input greatly received.
Looked off the pace for the first couple of games and got hauled off - but that was just the start. Since then he's grown into the Championship "style" if there is one, and looks to be getting to grips with the pace. He thought he had plenty of time on the ball when he first played to play the killer pass every time but soon realised that he was on there to make sure we kept the ball with the simple stuff and not give it away.. He's learned a lot from Warnock and is listening to what he's being told rather than thinking he's some Billy Bigbollucks from the Prem which some others have thought when they came here on loan. When you get him back he'll be a far better player than when he came to us. If he carries on for the rest of the season like he's doing at the moment, he may turn out to be the best loan player we've ever had.
Definitely on the up and complimenting the midfielders we already have. Been asked to play a couple of midfield roles and seems intelligent enough to understand what is asked of him and disiplined enough to execute the plan. Working in Liverpool I've had a few conversations in the office about him even before he played. The view in the office was that he was a bit rash and prone to bookings. Since he's come up to the pace of this league I've not felt him a liability. Got him down to score for us tonight.
As has been said above. When he came, I was concerned after his 1st game. Since then he's come on leaps and bounds and seems to have knocked off the rust. He's a good player. I expect him to have a bright future.
Option to buy him for a million at the end of the season apparantly...could have had his marching orders against Leeds...wild!
In your dreams Masky - thats when you can get some sleep with Doris needing attention. Considering he cost 'pool around £5M from Red Star, the best we could hope for is a straight swap for Tomlin.........
Maybe the 'Pool will leave him with us for another year so that he gets some Premiership experience? See! Now, I've gone and put the boogies on us. First time this year I've expressed such sentiments.
Improving game by game and starting to do a full shift. As Sparks said could turn out as one of our best loan players ever.
Got subbed for madine quite early yesterday. More the way the game was going and the need for a change in formation than him.
I think he will thrive in the derby on Sunday. It will be his type of game. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
