Well based on the last 2 seasons, where Gills were relegated from League One and Barnet only just survived the League Two drop after he left - not a chance! One of the reason's that most teams dread the drop to the Blue Square Premier imo, is not just so much it is non league football, it is a league more difficult to get out of than League Two. Although most people seem to suggest he is a non league manager! Slightly off topic but I see Rushden and Diamonds are in real financial trouble, need ã250,000 by the end of next week, also a claim according to gillsconnect that we still owe them money for Jacko.
Good luck to him. I think given time he'll get them in contention for the play offs and get them playing some nice football.
I agree and I think he could do a good job with them. He could do with going back to non league to get his confidence back up and I'm sure he's learnt a lot from his time here and at Barnet. Would be nice to see him back in League 2 with a club that he's got promoted.
BRB, were you angling for a response there? Because I'm just not going to be reeled in by that, sorry!
proved himself in non league and didnt manage to make the step up. still he has a great eye for cheap talent and that is prob a great help in non league and maybe he can learn to overcome his tactical ineptness
