Eh, he's better off having a good holiday anyway and resting up for the new season. England will be trash regardless.

The so called "Golden Generation" (Pool/Utd/Chavbus) did England proud after all.

... in all honesty Spurlock I think it is scandalous that Noble isn't in the squad ... Milner, Wilshire, Henderson and Delph all behind him IMHO

I agree. However can I say, Milner is a top pro and quite a reliable steady Eddie type of player with plenty experience with the England set up. He has that over Noble. The other choices quite frankly are disgusting and carry an air of 'I don't quite trust the new boys'. How else can you justify taking a set of crocks with about 24,000 miles of wheelchair mileage between them this season?

Because we have fck all available tbf... there's no standout midfielders and Noble firmly fits into the "fck all" category as well. The fact he's been better than the others mentioned is no barometer of how good he'll be. We're scraping the bottom of the barrel regardless.

... I don't dislike James Milner... just don't see him as part of a team that could trouble the best in the tournament..

Milner is average, regardless of what position he plays in or which club he plays for. Utterly pointless selection.

You won't get the spectacular from him. Who else is going to play chess with Woy whilst the real stars sleep? Rooney is too thick.

no not really i suppose it serves a purpose for those patriots whom follow engerland to go out and watch them fail again, hopefully england can pull one good result out of the hat before crashing out for those fans at least.

but in terms of winning the thing yes its pretty pointless entering for england, like spurs and anything they enter <laugh>
