Mark Lawrenson has again predcited that we will get beat ... apart from the Chelsea result, over the last 7 games we have not just left him with the proverbial egg on his mush - we have deposited eggs bennedict, spanish omelette and assorted souffles all over his 1980s sudo mullet .... .. his opponent this week is a bloke called something like Thomas Turdnose, an actor ... who has predicted that Sunderland will not only beat us ... but will beat us 3-0 ... given that with two games to go we have not been beaten by anybody by a 3 goal margin I suspect he is no student of form ... although he might be a statistician ... because we are possibly more likely to get beat by 3 than teams who have already done so ... Let's stuff it up the both of them
The "actor" has gone for us to lose and Hull to beat Tottenham. We'd be in trouble again if that happens! He's also gone for Newcastle to lose though - So we'd be one point above the relegation zone on final day. Shows how important tomorrow's matches are. We could end up back in the bottom three on final day, or could be mathematically safe by 5pm tomorrow without winning!
I can't believe that anyone gives a **** what he predicts..I expect one hell of a tough game tomorrow, and I just hope and pray that the red and whites come out on top. You have QPR at home last game of the season which should be a banker for you and also guarantee safety..
Frankly I don't give a monkeys - Lawro is like many ex-player pundits. (the worst is Micky Quinn) in terms of their own bias predictions ... Man United would be just above the relegation zone if their actual results mirrored Quinny' s predictions ...
Lawro's predictions are not in any way significantly better than his random guests which should tell you something..
