SATURDAY Arsenal v Norwich (1245 BST) This is a massive game for Arsenal in the race for third place in the Premier League and the good news for the Gunners is that Norwich look like they have hit the wall in recent weeks, which their manager Paul Lambert will not be happy about. Lambert will be delighted in one respect, because the Canaries are safe and sat on 43 points, but they seem to have fallen victim to the same problem Charlton used to have when they were in the top flight a few years ago, when they got to 40 points and a few of their players seemed to switch off. I was speaking to Stoke boss Tony Pulis about this last week and I asked him if players are on a percentage of the prize money you get for where you finish in the table. Pulis said they are not on that at Stoke, but he thinks that is something worth looking at because it is extra incentive for players at the end of the season, if they need it. This is Arsenal's last home game of the season which is another reason they will be pushing hard to win it. They go to West Brom on the last day of the season for Roy Hodgson's farewell to the Baggies before he takes the England job. By then, the Gunners will have an idea of what they need to do to clinch a Champions League place and there might be a carnival atmosphere around The Hawthorns, which will make it easier for them. If Arsene Wenger's side need to win both games to finish third, then I think they will do it. Prediction: 2-0 Chelsea v Liverpool (FA CUP FINAL, 1715 BST) Liverpool have beaten Chelsea in all three games since Kenny Dalglish returned as Reds manager, and he was unbeaten against the Blues over 10 games in his previous spell as Anfield boss too. So the Reds might have a bit of a hex over Roberto di Matteo's side, and they also seem to fare better against teams that come on to them a little bit, which Chelsea will do whether they have Didier Drogba or Fernando Torres playing up front. Chelsea have also got the Champions League final to look forward to in a couple of weeks and, because of their resurgence since Di Matteo took charge, they have become a big scalp again. But, by hook or by crook, I think Liverpool will win - although I think it might come via extra-time or even penalties. It will be that close. Dalglish said this week that winning two cups is better than finishing fifth in the Premier League and I think he's right because you are still in the Europa League, and you have some silverware too. So their success in the Carling Cup and run to the final of the FA Cup undoubtedly deflects some pressure off them after their poor league run, and you might be thinking that Dalglish badly needs to win this game for his job to remain secure. The thing with Liverpool, though, is that when you watch them at Anfield and see the games they have drawn and even some of the ones they have lost, then they have always created loads of chances. It is not going to take major surgery to get them much more like a top six team and I think their American owner John W Henry understands that. So, while Dalglish is under pressure just like any other Premier League manager, I don't think he is under as much pressure as people from the outside might think. Prediction: 1-1 (Liverpool to win on penalties) SUNDAY Newcastle v Man City (1330 BST) I really thought that Chelsea would beat Newcastle in midweek, but the reason they didn't was because of those two stunning goals by Papiss Demba Cisse. It is understandable why everyone is raving about Cisse's second goal because it was absolutely brilliant. It was a great win for the Magpies but this is Manchester City we are talking about. With only two games left, they know that if they win both games then they win the Premier League and I think they will go to Newcastle and win. Yes, of course it will be a difficult game but Newcastle need a win too so they are going to have to open up a little bit. I just think City, at the moment, away from home have realised what they have to do to win games. I know it has taken them a while but the penny has dropped. How will Roberto Mancini's men approach this game? Well, they will give ultimate respect to Newcastle and will see what they have got in the first half an hour before they start to turn the screw. If they get good service to Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez, then I think that will be good enough to see City through. Prediction: 1-2 Aston Villa v Tottenham (1400 BST) I cannot see anything other than a Tottenham win in this game. Harry Redknapp said after his Spurs side were beaten by QPR that they had to win their last four games of the campaign to have a chance of finishing in the top four and, with a home game against Fulham after this one, I think they will do that. They are halfway there already after beating Blackburn and Bolton. It might not be enough to get them third place, though, and obviously they could finish fourth and miss out on the Champions League if Chelsea win it this year. But that is why the Premier League is so exciting this season, because there are so many teams fighting it out at both ends of the table. And, while I don't think it is a massive factor that Redknapp has not been given the England job, I think it will have an effect because seeing Roy Hodgson appointed stops all the speculation. The Tottenham players won't really have worried about it that much but they know now that Redknapp will be at the club next year and it is almost like putting your pair of slippers back on that you have lost for the last couple of days. Meanwhile, Villa are in all sorts of trouble and I just wouldn't even tip them to pinch a goal. Alex McLeish's side might get lucky because I feel results for the teams below them will keep Villa up, rather than a positive result for Villa. Prediction: 0-2 Bolton v West Brom (1400 BST) From what I saw of Bolton in their defeat by Tottenham on Wednesday, they played quite well in patches without ever looking like they were going to win the game. I don't think Wanderers will lose again at home against West Brom but I am going to go for a draw here, which is a result which will not do them too much good in their battle against the drop. To be honest, I just get a little bit of a sinking feeling about Owen Coyle's team. After having a good run where they went three games unbeaten, they just seem to have hit the buffers again - and it could also be significant that their goal difference is now worse than that of both Blackburn and QPR, as well as Wigan and Aston Villa. It is a difficult game to call, because other than knowing that their manager Roy Hodgson is leaving, West Brom have nothing to play for. The thing about that is it means they will be completely relaxed and fearless. What next for West Brom when Hodgson goes? Well, there are plenty of people out there who will fancy a Premier League job. You would look at Steve Bruce, who is out of work, but also there will be one or two Championship managers who might not come up via the play-offs, like Birmingham's Chris Hughton or Ian Holloway at Blackpool, who will undoubtedly be in the picture. Prediction: 1-1 Fulham v Sunderland (1400 BST) For Fulham to beat Liverpool at Anfield in midweek was a fantastic result for them and, although their manager Martin Jol might miss this game with a chest infection, they will want to sign off at home for the season with a win. The wins have dried up for Sunderland in the last few weeks, but they are still ultra-competitive and they will have a big say in the outcome of the title race when they play Manchester United at the Stadium of Light on the final day of the season. Sunderland's form was always going to taper off after their great run when Martin O'Neill took charge in December. I think he will still be pleased with how well he got them playing for a while. QPR v Stoke (1400 BST) I watched QPR's 6-1 defeat at Chelsea for Match of the Day 2 last week and was amazed at what happened. Rangers boss Mark Hughes has got a great coaching team and his sides are usually well organised but the caption we used for them on the programme was Queens Park Strangers because they played like they had only just met. Defensively, they were absolutely all over the place. Stoke boss Tony Pulis was a guest in the studio so was watching that game with me and he was saying "this is all we need" because he knew his side were coming to Loftus Road next, and you would expect a reaction to that performance from the QPR players. QPR's home form has been so good recently that I have a feeling they will sneak a win. I think they have to, really, because they travel to Manchester City on the last day of the season so I think Sunday could be the last time they pick up any points this season. For me, it is between QPR, Bolton and Blackburn for the remaining two relegation spots, and I'm not sure where Bolton and Blackburn are going to get enough points to stay up from. Prediction: 2-1 Wolves v Everton (1400 BST) I know Wolves showed a bit of spirit to fight back from 4-1 down for a draw at Swansea last week but I cannot see Terry Connor getting a first win as manager here. Everton will not lie down and they are playing better now than they were before they lost to Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-finals. They are in mid-table but they still have plenty to play for because they want to finish above the Reds in the table and they are not going to relax now. Prediction: 0-2 Man Utd v Swansea (1600 BST) Swansea changed their formation against Wolves last week and I didn't think it worked. Defensively they looked very open, which was demonstrated by the fact they conceded four goals. I see this being a comfortable win for United, especially because they will know the outcome of Manchester City's difficult game at Newcastle by the time they kick off at Old Trafford. Regardless of that result, they will just go for it and attack from the start. Could United put six goals past Swansea to make City's lead on goal difference a lot narrower? Possibly, but I don't see it happening. I definitely see them bouncing back from Monday's derby game, though. I was not surprised by the way Sir Alex Ferguson approached that match in terms of his cautious tactics, but the personnel he used did surprise me. I expected Antonio Valencia to start and, also, I expected Ferguson to revert to an attacking approach once his side went behind. They didn't, and he left it a long time to try and change things around. It was only late in the game when Ashley Young and Valencia came on, which was very unusual. Prediction: 3-0 MONDAY Blackburn v Wigan (2000 BST) Blackburn probably have to win this game to have a chance of staying up, and I think they will beat the Latics - although they will probably also have to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the last day of the season if they are to stay in the Premier League. Rovers were poor at Tottenham last week which is not what you expect from a team in trouble. The way they set up in their defeat at White Hart Lane was absolutely fine but, when you play so defensively, you have to carry a goal threat too and they didn't do that at all. It doesn't change the fact they have to win this game, though, and they will do it any way they can. Wigan played some outstanding stuff to beat Newcastle but going to Ewood Park is a completely different sort of game - you could call it a 'muck and nettles' job. The Latics will bring a fair few fans with them and it will be a really good atmosphere but I think Rovers' nitty-gritty style will triumph over Wigan's prettier passing. As one of my old coaches at Liverpool, John Bennison, used to say, this game will be 'tousy'. When he first said it, I asked him what 'tousy' meant and he just said "the tackles will be flying in". I would expect this match to be pretty lively. Ultimately, I think Wigan will be fine, but they will have to wait a bit longer to make sure of their safety. Come on the Geordies. I wish I could post a good luck message on their board but I'm still banned over Speedgate
It could go either way, I can the toon winning but I can also see Citeh winning. It just depends what happens on the day but that win against Chelsea will have made Citeh sit up and take notice. Not that they would need to anyway giving that we've won 7 of the last 8. Really looking forward to it.
City will run over the top of the Brown Ale merchants. City are far more adaptable ane have a suave handsone Wap at the wheel.
The Brown Ale will be replaced with champers when we derail the Citeh express. I'm starting to think 3-0 to the toon, just like when we played the other half of Manchester.
No chance of putting three past City without reply. If Newcastle beat City I will sport a Union Jack Avatar for a week on here. It comes down to bottle.
