Hi, i appreciate everyone is holding out for Ramirez deal but this really threw me... I just read ML's PL predictions on the BBC... "Facing Manchester City and Manchester United in the first three games - it doesn't rain, it pours for Southampton. The worrying thing for me about Southampton is that they have a very good manager but I'm not sure about the people who run the club." (Mark Lawrenson) I liked his red arrow comment but he then comes out with the most ill informed ****e like that? Where's he coming from ?
I think this either harks back to Cortese sacking Pardew after two games (the real reason for which never got past the M27) with a good old fashioned bit of British xenophobia probably thrown in, or refers to the fact that most people in football do not understand who actually owns us. TBF, i'm not 100% on that last point either...
Somewhere I read that ML left instructions with his executor about his desires for SFC which suggests that present owner (probably his daughter) has hands tied (either morally or legally). One of his executors may be his daughter anyway. I suspect that Nicola's position is pretty well protected.
He was knobbing Deanos missus. Got sacked from Wet Spam for smillier thing. For Newcastle he's signed a lot of African players because he doesn't like black girls so much, takes away the temptation. He's a boy alrite!
It comes down to commonsense. If you weren't down to your last billion and had no need to realise money, would you sell a football club that made your father happy in his final year. Or would you try and make his dream come true.
It's a shame that they let these pundits on air when, most of the time, the stuff that they say is rubbish. What does he even know about us?Probably very little.
He;s such a garbage pundit. I keep telling my dad Lawrence is clueless and he's always sticking up for the **** like a life long friend . Pathetic
It wasn't that I don't think. A few of the players didn't like the style or play they were playing apparently.
