He's definitely turned things around (after a slow start which a few wise heads on here pointed out is his norm). Play like we did today in away matches and maintain home form and next year will be special.
We just have to play like this against the also rans in this division not just the big boys and then we will be ok.
Twas i who was one of those wise heads...thanks mate Hughes has started exactly as he did at all the clubs he has managed. Awful start (Win ratio in the first 10 games of low 20% i think), but once he gets things going his way then the team starts to gel. Personally i doubted we had enough time to be to gel but VERY happy i was proved wrong.
I'd be more surprised if anyone came on here and posted they weren't drunk!! Gonna be a heavy day at work tomorrow!
I'm not drunk as it'll **** my liver, but I am high on coke (the drink). Beth don't let any of these 606ers take advantage of you while you are in a drunk state!
Think we need to treat every single game a life or death cup final including our first away game in August. Then we should be okay
But despite our supreme run of form at home (which many attribute to our survival) and the supposed run-in from hell (which we negotiated against the odds), there are some out of there who can still find the time to slag MH's away record?! And remain convinced NW would have done the same, or better? I'm not saying whether NW would or wouldn't have kept us up, i don't really care. Today is not about him. It's about the club and the 10 warriors who did us proud.
