What would you have done differently today? Taarabt going off was questionable but the bloke has played just under 3 games in a week and his fitness has never been the best.
I would like to see us play with two up front especially at home. Hopefully he will change the system when the new players arrive.
when we was on top in the second half we should have put another forward on and gone for it. it was there for the taking look what lambert done made the changes and got the points its that simple.
This isn't an anti-Warnock rant and I was going to post this pre-Norwich game but Internet gremlins prevented it. Anyway, at the risk of raising the ire of those on this board who can't seem to accept any criticism of NW I will post my thoughts. Most of the defence of NW stems from a) his work keeping us up in 2010 b) his sterling efforts in getting us up last season and c) his limited opportunities to make signings in the summer due to the ownership fiasco. All of which are valid points but how long can he live off that? At the end of the day what is being exposed ruthlessly right now is his lack of ability to manage at this level which has been evident in the past. I find it very odd that pretty much everyone on here accepts that we don't have enough premier quality players and are very happy to see the back of those who clearly can't cut it in this league despite their efforts in getting us here but judge NW by
Canada - you have forgotton to mention that until bernie and Flav left, NW was managing with his hands tied behnd his back. End of season, we will still be a premier league team. All team have a part of a season where things go belly up, and this time of year there are always wierd results. Have a bit of faith and see who comes in during Jan
I accept that but that excuse can't go on forever. We have a horror run in and if the situation doesnt improve by early Feb then I think a change needs to be considered - look at MON at Sunderland. I think we need to accept that NW has not got a good record at this level and like some of the players we are going to let go because of the same reason we shouldn't rule out the same debate on NW. most people on here have been bemused by some of the team selections and substitutions recently and I get the sense he's making it up on the fly and there is no clear plan - compare to how organised and well drilled Sunderland were despite having two midfielders at full back agains the league leaders. Could we honestly have expected that from a NW managed team?
I'd rather we had our **** run now than later. New faces will provide a spark and a striker who can stick the ball away would be welcome. We've even been linked with Darren Bent so I guess something will turn up and if it's Defoe then the air of doom and gloom will soon evaporate. I've every faith we'll be ok...
Cerny said defoe and Johnson done deals!! Gospel!! What with macheda, dj, hh, bothroyd and now hulse back in the fold we only need a couple more strikers!!!!
We do...but I fear we all could be very disappointed. As for Hulse back in the squad today? **** me....we really are ****ed!!
