Mark Hughes will be without Traore and Taarabt for the majority of next week. Both called up for international friendlies. #QPR

    UPDATE

QPR Official Site - Traore and Taarabt selected

R'S DUO Armand Traore and Adel Taarabt have been called up to represent their respective countries next week.

Traore will link up with his Senegal team-mates on Monday ahead of their friendly against Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

Taarabt, meanwhile, has been selected for Morocco’s friendly match against Guinea in Rabat.

Both players will return to QPR ahead of the R’s season opener against Swansea City next weekend.

These Intl friendlies in the first week of the season are a joke.

If I was a manager I'd be tearing my hair out. Who honestly thinks it is a good idea to play a completely pointless friendly, one week before the season begins?

This is bloody annoying. We need a fully fit Tarrabt to take the piss out of Swansea like he does every year.

I assume there will be instructions from Hughes on how many minutes each one can play and it will be treated like a final friendly/warm-up for them.

MH will turn it into a conditioning excercise. I worry about injuries but do the same about firendlies with Trabsonspor, Wycombe and the rest anyway so no change.
