Taarabt, meanwhile, has been selected for Moroccoâs friendly match against Guinea in Rabat. Both players will return to QPR ahead of the Râs season opener against Swansea City next weekend.
If I was a manager I'd be tearing my hair out. Who honestly thinks it is a good idea to play a completely pointless friendly, one week before the season begins?
This is bloody annoying. We need a fully fit Tarrabt to take the piss out of Swansea like he does every year.
I assume there will be instructions from Hughes on how many minutes each one can play and it will be treated like a final friendly/warm-up for them. MH will turn it into a conditioning excercise. I worry about injuries but do the same about firendlies with Trabsonspor, Wycombe and the rest anyway so no change.
