I think we should try to be as patient as possible, it must be hard to attract players with our wage cap and the stigma attached to the club

 

Probably more to do with the wage cap mate.

 

Wage cap is the right long term strategy though. That's why we (Fulham) struggle to sign many 'Names'. Though I wonder if the cap has been loosened a bit with the new owner, coz Bent is alleged to be earning more than we pay - Villa may be subsidising.

Long term the responsible teams will be ok; in 10 yrs time the Man City and QPR strategies will mean relegation (not that QPR could tell the difference )
