Thats the rumour flying around on Planet Swans - not always the most reliable source.

Would be gutted if this is true. The sum they have said is 150k

We need all the experience we can get. And have lost so many of our starting line up from last season....We need to keep the experience.

We could lose or have lost:
    De Vries
    Pratley
    Rangel
    Taylor
    Borini
    Gower

Thats a lot of good players there....this could really affect our season.

Peoples views on Gower and his possible departure?

Unlikely, Rodgers thinks highly of Gower, £150K is peanuts and he's too good for league 1 that's for sure

Another " Martinez " masterstroke that both Sousa & Rodgers were able to advantage , no matter what was asked of him . Back when Robinson , Anderson & Bodde were himing & haing on staying with us , Gower was signed , quietly I might add . . our bench should be without him .

I can't say I'm gutted regarding Gower, a very average player, and not good enough for the Prem!............

We've lost De Vries and Pratley. Borini was never ours and the others are still there. (Albeit Taylor looks likely).

Lets not try to patch holes that haven't appeared yet. Pratley, Taylor, Borini and Gower didn't start every game either.

As for Gower, I'd like to see him stay to cover in Midfield, but I'm not sure he'd be in my starting line-up every week.

Shaper I said could lose or have lost. Borini wasn't ours but he was still first choice striker, and he would have been next season had we kept him. I consider that a loss.

Would love Gower to stay, had a solid season and deserves his chance to play in the Prem by the way he performed last season

I don't see this to be honest. He seems to really like it here and Rodgers really likes him, and he's a great player to have in the squad.

Rhys we didn't even have a choice with Borini he signed for Parma before he even came to us, he helped us when we needed it, I do hope to see him back with us loan

Sounding like the Phil of old there , might be easier to announce the players you do like Phil , may be a shorter list .

Well if Gower does go i'd like to thank the club for extending his contract not that long ago so maybe we might get a few pennies for him.

Gower is the perfect bench player. Seasoned professional who knows the game inside out, and he fits into our style and team ethic. I would never say that he'd hold down a first team place with us, but keeping him around would be a good thing for the squad. He is not deadwood in the mould of Cotterill, Orlandi, Serran, Butler etc. If he goes, good luck to him and thank you for your efforts - if not, I'll be pleased that we are keeping a good quality player within our ranks for what will be a tough season.

Gower has been decent for us in the past 18 months but wont be a huge loss.

However I can't see it happening, why would he go to League 1? He is definitely championship quality with the right team.

I doubt very much that this is true or that Gower would even accept such a move at this point. Gower is still in contract and he has been quoted last season as (and I paraphrase) wanting so much to play in the Prem - even if it's for just a few minutes on the field in one game.
